Food and beverage marketing lives or dies on sensory detail. Lighting has to make a dish look like something you want to eat right now. Product shots have to hold up next to a can of drink content that’s competing for two seconds of scroll time. And when you bring in an influencer or brand ambassador — the way Home Chef and PLEZi did with Ayesha Curry — the production has to be tight enough to capture authentic, unscripted moments without losing a full day of shooting.
That’s a different skill set than corporate interviews or B2B explainer videos. It’s why we built out dedicated experience in this space rather than treating every shoot the same way.

When Home Chef partnered with Ayesha Curry to bring her recipes to their core menu, we built a full campaign: a 30-second promo, a 15-second promo, social and UGC-style cuts, plus 40 retouched photos. Our lighting approach leaned into a warm, sunlit-kitchen feel, using natural window light and soft accents to keep the food — and Ayesha — as the visual focus throughout.
We handled pre-production and production for this Modelo branded content shoot, working alongside Live Nation to bring a music-culture partnership to life on camera.
PLEZi needed three distinct moments captured in a single production window: a behind-the-scenes product development session, an intimate fireside chat, and a surprise in-store activation at a Bay Area Safeway. We shot and delivered all of it — interviews, candid social content, and a guerrilla-style public engagement piece — in a single 10-hour day.

We treat food and beverage shoots the way a chef treats plating — every detail matters because the audience is judging with their eyes first.
Not just visibility — soft, flattering light on faces and product, natural shadow work that feels warm instead of flat
Whether that's an in-store surprise activation or a candid fireside conversation, we know how to stay ready without making it feel staged
So you get :30 promos, :15 cuts, and social/UGC versions without paying for multiple production days
It depends on scope, but most of our food and beverage projects — think a promo video plus social cuts and photography, like our Home Chef campaign — land in the same range as our standard commercial packages. Check out our pricing page for real budget breakdowns pulled from actual client projects.
Yes — this is one of our specialties. Our PLEZi and Home Chef campaigns both centered on Ayesha Curry as brand partner, and we built the production days around capturing authentic moments (fireside chats, in-store surprises, cooking demos) alongside more traditional promo footage. If you’re bringing in a partner or ambassador, we can help plan a shoot day that gets you both polished and candid content.
Usually, yes. On the PLEZi shoot, we captured a product development session, a fireside interview, and a live in-store activation in a single 10-hour day. For Home Chef, one shoot day produced a :30 promo, a :15 promo, social/UGC cuts, and 40 retouched photos. Efficient planning up front means you’re not paying for multiple production days to get a full content library.
We shoot and edit natively for vertical, social-first placement — 9×16 for Instagram, TikTok, and Reels — alongside any horizontal or broadcast-format deliverables you need. If you’re running paid social alongside organic, we build both into the same production plan.
Lighting is where a lot of food and beverage content either works or falls flat. We build lighting setups specifically to make food and drinks look appetizing — soft, natural light for a warm kitchen feel, accent lighting on textures and ingredients, and flattering light on anyone appearing on camera. We don’t treat a food shoot like a corporate interview shoot.
Both. Our client list includes national brands like Modelo and Home Chef, but we regularly work with smaller Bay Area food and beverage companies too. Project scope and budget flex based on what you actually need — not a one-size-fits-all package.
We’re based in San Francisco (400 Clementina St) and shoot throughout the Bay Area regularly. We also travel for the right project — our Modelo and PLEZi work involved coordinating with partners and locations outside our home base.
Whether you’re launching a new product, bringing on a brand ambassador, or just need content that makes people stop scrolling and get hungry, we’d love to talk through what you’re working on.
