GOAL
We produced a two-day commercial for the Spare the Air campaign, a regional initiative aimed at encouraging drivers to leave their cars at home and opt for cleaner, more sustainable modes of transportation. With a tone that was fresh, lighthearted, and comedic, the campaign was designed to shift perceptions around public transit—from something routine or restrictive to something liberating and unexpectedly enjoyable. The creative direction focused on highlighting the sense of freedom that comes not just from how you travel, but in how you spend your time during the journey.
APPROACH
To bring this idea to life, we cast four distinctive talents to represent a broad cross-section of Bay Area personalities. Each character’s story brought a unique, relatable charm, and great comedic timing to the screen, reinforcing the message that public transportation is not only environmentally smart—it can actually enhance your day.
Production took place across four key locations—two per day. Each location was chosen to represent a different experience and rhythm of daily life, all while showcasing the diversity and accessibility of the region’s transit options.
In the end, the final product reflects not only the campaign’s creative vision but the spirit of the team behind it—resourceful, upbeat, and committed to creating something that connects with viewers and drives real impact. Public transportation isn’t just better for the air—it’s better for your day, and we’re proud to have helped tell that story.
