CHALLENGE
Hinge Health came to us with an exciting challenge: to create a compelling launch video for their newest innovation, the Enso device — a cutting-edge, drug-free solution for pain management. Unlike previous product videos that were more clinical in tone, Hinge Health wanted this piece to feel more personal, emotionally engaging, and grounded in real life. The goal was not just to showcase the device’s features, but to tell a story — one that captured how the Enso can integrate effortlessly into daily routines and empower people to take control of their pain on their own terms.
APPROACH
From the outset, we led the creative direction—handling ideation, concept development, scriptwriting, storyboarding, UI design, casting, and location scouting. Collaborating closely with Hinge Health, we shaped a concept that balanced product education with cinematic storytelling, aiming to resonate broadly while feeling personal and specific.
We developed a story around two distinct, relatable characters: a corporate professional managing chronic pain from home, and a mailman treating pain in brief moments during his route. This allowed us to highlight the Enso device’s versatility across different lifestyles and work environments. Our casting prioritized emotional nuance as much as physical fit.
Visually, we focused on authentic settings—home desks, offices, couches, porches—using warm, human cinematography to make the Enso feel like a seamless, unobtrusive part of daily life. Every creative choice supported the tone: hopeful, relatable, and real.
We worked closely with Hinge Health throughout, ensuring brand alignment while pushing creative boundaries. The final video introduced the product in a way that reframed pain relief as an integrated, everyday experience.
This project is a clear example of what we do best: turning product features into human stories, and making technology feel like a trusted companion.
